Gallantry

Hawzah News Agency- The Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), says:

لَمّا سُئلَ عَنِ المُروءَةِ- : لاتَفعَلُ شيئاً في السِّرِّ تَستَحيي مِنهُ في العَلانِيَةِ.

Imam Ali (PBUH), when asked about gallantry, said, '[It is to] Not do something secretly which you would be ashamed to do in public.
